Last night I drove by Collingdale Florist on the way home from work and the huge neon sign was off. The corner was dim and only light shining was coming from inside Collingdale Deli.

Yesterday I found out that Phyllis Grillo, the woman who has owned and operated Collingdale Florist on MacDade and WoodLawn Ave passed away. She :: thankfully :: passed in her sleep and was found by her son on Saturday morning.
