… last week some time I posted about Concetta Jackson and John Jackey Worman the two degenerates that were arrested for child pornography.

Today on the front page of the Delco Times, the headline read EVERY PARENT’S WORSE NIGHTMARE and went on to report on the opening of Worman’s trial.

One sentence caught my attention. The prosecutor said that the jury’s lives would forever be changed by what they were going hear and worse, what they were going to see. That being still images and video take of WORMman sexually assaulting and molesting children.

I don’t care what the defense is going to say.. that he’s a mental head.. that he’s sick.. that he can’t help it.. I’ve seen enough Dr. Phil shows to hear all the excuses. If I had my way, I’d make him suffer in ways that only his victims know. Physical and Mental.

That should be what reformation is about… not doing time in jail. Not having to register as a sex offender ::which is nothing but a joke:: .. not having to sit in a psyciatrist’s chair.

I always say to my husband that I prefer the Old Testement way of dealing with revenge… “an eye for an eye” then the New Testements “… turn the other cheek”. I’m sorry but there are just some things that need retribution .. and this is one of them.

Defense attorney to jury: Your lives will be altered

PHILADELPHIA – On the opening day of John Jackey Worman’s child pornography trial, one of his 12 alleged victims testified that he sexually abused her from the time she was 6 or 7 years old, forcing her to have sex with him just to get a snack at school.

“For me to get extra snacks I would have to do things for him,” testified the victim, now 20. “I would have to do things to please him. I had to earn my money.”
The young woman said that Worman, the only father-figure she and her siblings had ever known, photographed or videotaped the sexual encounters, which occurred mainly in the basement of Worman’s mother’s roach- and flea-infested home on Walnut Street in Colwyn.
In opening arguments, Assistant U.S. Prosecutor Michelle Rotella told the jury and U.S. District Judge Lawrence F. Stengel that investigators found 1.2 million images of child pornography in Worman’s possession.
“Virtually every one of them show him sexually abusing kids,” Rotella said. “From teenagers, to prepubescent, all the way down to infants down to 3 months of age.
“What he did to these children, those infants, is every parent’s worst nightmare,” the prosecutor said. “It’s difficult to hear, but it will be even more difficult to watch.”
Describing the images as “graphic, repulsive and shocking,” Rotella spoke of one video in which Worman is seen taking an infant out of a car seat and rubbing her all over his body before sexually assaulting her.
The child pornography videotapes and photographs that Worman is alleged to have made by abusing the 12 victims is the basis for the federal case against him. There is no federal child sexual-abuse charge. Worman is being tried for allegedly filming himself having sex with children and infants as young as 3 months old while using cameras and other equipment purchased or shipped outside of Pennsylvania.
Worman’s defense attorney, Mark Cedrone, said the prosecution would likely spend most of its time distracting the jury with graphic images, “the depravity of which is unspeakable.“
“Your lives will be forever altered by what you are going to experience as a result of your jury duty,” he acknowledged.
But, he said, the government must prove that Worman is guilty of producing the images using material transported in interstate and foreign commerce.
The 20-year-old alleged victim who testified Monday said the abuse began about two years after she and two of her siblings moved in with Worman after being in foster care for several years.
“It began with the flashing. He’d ask me to show parts of my body,” the alleged victim said. “He asked me one time to give him oral … he then started to videotape.”
She said that when Worman wanted to have sex with her, he’d asked her, in code, “to give him a turn.”
“It happened in the basement, it also happened in his truck,” she testified. When asked what Worman did to her, she said, crying at times, that he had vaginal and oral sex with her.
The alleged victim was shown several Polaroid photos of a young child being abused by Worman. She looked at the pictures, then said she knew she was the girl in the photo, having recognized her “favorite pink shirt” and the Tweety Bird sheets her mother had given her.
Worman and the children slept in the basement; he had his own enclosed sleeping area, while the two girls shared a bunk bed and their brother slept on the floor, she testified.
She also recognized a black towel in some of the photos, a towel that Worman allegedly used to help his victims clean up. She pointed to the same black towel in another photograph of a baby being abused by Worman.
The woman testified that there were three computers in the house – one was password-protected so that only Worman could use it.
In 2003, Worman moved in to Concetta Jackson’s Collingdale home, bringing with him the victim and her siblings.
Jackson, the former baby sitter who pleaded guilty last week to one count of manufacturing child pornography, had four children of her own.
Then, when she was around 15 or 16, while watching television shows such as “Law and Order,” the alleged victim began to realize that what she had been living with for most of her life was sexual abuse, she said. When she confronted Worman and insisted they have a father/daughter relationship, he became angry with her and stopped talking to her, she said. She moved out a short time later.
She kept their horrible secret until one day, in January 2006, when a relative called her to say they had seen a naked photograph of her brother on Worman’s computer, she said. Wanting to protect her brother from what she had experienced, the girl told a teacher at her school. The teacher contacted authorities.
When Sgt. John Kelly, of the Delaware County District Attorney’s Child-Abuse Unit, spoke with the alleged victim several days later, she agreed to wear a wire and tape phone conversations with Worman. During the three taped conversations, played for the jury, Worman appeared to suspect that something was amiss, even asking the alleged victim once if she was “wearing a wire.”
A day later, Kelly obtained and executed search warrants at the Worman home in Colwyn, at Jackson’s home in Collingdale and at co-defendant Dorothy Prawdzik’s home in Drexel Hill, as well as for Worman’s van.
Kelly said investigators confiscated at least six hard drives, a computer tower, video and digital cameras, a laptop computer and other items that were sent for forensic analysis. After reviewing the findings, it became apparent there were more victims and an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest, Kelly said.
Worman managed to elude authorities for about two weeks until federal marshals picked him up at a Tinicum motel, Kelly testified. He has been held on $4 million bail since that time
Worman and Prawdzik, 44, are facing lengthy federal prison terms if convicted.
Worman, is charged with more than 50 counts of producing and possessing child pornography. Prawdzik, the one-time girlfriend of Worman, is charged in the federal indictment with helping Worman produce the child-sex videos.
