My 10 year old step-son’s bike was stolen off our front lawn on Friday. Was it chained? Ehhh… he says he “thinks” it was but I doubt it. If anything, he probably wrapped the chain around the bike and around the fence without actually locking it.

Not sure whether I wasn’t paying attention to it before or if the ebb and tide of bike stealing in on up-swing but I heard of another stolen bike story today.
Apparently, a bike costing ALOT more then a mongoose was stolen and the kid who stole it was approaching people on Laffayette in an attempt [...]

This afternoon a neighborhood kid and his friends… actually, I think one was his brother… has stopped in Collingdale Deli and left his bike in front of the store. He was only in there for a few minutes but it was enough time for ANOTHER kid to ride by and steal it.
